The animal can be shampooed, immersed in water or exposed to rain 3 days after treatment. advantage® II kitten retains its ovicidal and larvicidal efficacy up to 4 weeks following a shampoo treatment, swimming or exposure to rain. The adulticidal effect may be shortened by repeated shampooing, water immersion or exposure to rain. Re-application may be required after such activities.
